Application Procedure
Requirements

Applicants must be residents of Lancaster County.

Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates applying to Moravian University or Harrisburg Area Community College.

Applicants must maintain a 2.5 grade point average on a four point scale.
Process
Interested applicants should apply to the college and program that interests them. After you pass all of the requirements to be accepted into your preferred program, please ask the college Admissions and Scholarship committees to forward your approved application to the Phyllis G. Kreider Education and Care Fund, administered at the Faithful Journey Foundation, 1722 Oregon Pike, Suite 201, Lancaster, PA, 17601. Please write a short cover letter describing your educational and career goals and why you would be a fit with the principles Phyllis promotes.
It is anticipated that one scholarship to Moravian University in the amount of $8000 will be awarded annually and two scholarships to the Lancaster Campus of HACC in the amount of $4000 will be available. Scholarships will be continued throughout your education program as long as you maintain a 2.5 grade point average.
